Balance is the Goal, Yin is the energy, Yoga and Massage the Vehicle. Welcome to Yin Mind and Body.  A place to focus the mind and escape the stress of everyday life. To breath; to be quiet; to be still; to take an internal focus where we can connect with our mind and body.  Over many years I have gravitated towards the "Yin" styles of Yoga because of it's calm and quiet nature. It's the energy I choose (continually) to live in!  "A little bit of Yin goes along way" to balance our hectic lifestyles, our demanding physical workouts, and the mental stress of living in 2018 and beyond.  As one of my participants stated "it's the type of Yoga class I never knew I needed until I tried it.  Now it's my favourite class of the week" 
I have spent 30 + years in the fitness industry and have witnessed and welcomed the progression Yoga and more recently the Yin styles of Yoga. I truly believe it's what we need and should be part of everyone's routine. I am humbled and ecstatic to have this simple space to practise all that I love in this beautiful "Yin" energy.  Introducing Qigong Flow to our schedule recently has changed the energy in our space...it's balanced Yin and Yang in beautiful ancient practise of Qigong. Come and try it, it's for everyone!

A native of Amherstburg Rene relocated to Toronto in 1988 to study Massage Therapy at Kikkawa College.  Teaching Fitness Classes her passion. Goodlife fitness was her  home for 30+ years when she discovered Yoga and started her studies. Completing a 350 hr Hatha Yoga Certification with East to West Yoga in Toronto, Pilates Mat with the Physical Mind Institute, and many other trainings including LifeCoaching to advance her skills.  Rene was a National Trainer for  12 years with LesMills Canada facilitating Initial Trainings for their trademark programs and was a International Guest Presenter on an Educational Instructor Video in 2008! Toronto was her home for more then 25 years, until she returned to Amherstburg with her family in 2013.  She has continued to expand her knowledge and skills in recent years with certifications in  Yin Yoga , Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga and Qigong,  Mindful Meditation.  A forever student and lover of life, Rene believes in balance,  that "Yin" style practices are a wonderful way to achieve it.  Yin Mind and Body is a dream come true!
